My review of The Girl Who Came Back by Kerry Wilkinson

Today I am taking part in the book blitz for Kerry Wilkinson’s new release – The Girl Who Came Back along with some other amazing bloggers!

TGWCB - Blog Tour

Thirteen years ago Olivia Adams went missing. Now she’s back… or is she?

When five-year-old Olivia Adams disappeared from her back garden, the small community of Stoneridge was thrown into turmoil. How could a child vanish in the middle of a cosy English village?

Thirteen years on and Olivia is back. Her mother is convinced it’s her but not everyone is sure. If this is the missing girl, then where has she been – and what happened to her on that sunny afternoon?  If she’s an imposter, then who would be bold enough to try to fool a child’s own mother – and why?

Then there are those who would rather Olivia stayed missing. The past is the past and some secrets must remain buried.

This is an absolutely superb book! I have read quite a few of Kerry Wilkinson’s books and hands down for me this is the best one he has written yet!! It gripped me and I didn’t want to put it down, the writing style is excellent, the story creeps slowly building up and setting the tension perfectly. It absorbs you and it is really intense in just the right places. The characters work so well together, it really is an excellent stand alone psychological thriller – 5 stars from me no hesitation and definitely in my top ten books of 2017!!
