If your son was accused of murder, what would you do?
Your son has shown up in the middle of the night, with a scratch on his face, asking for help.
You find out he is wanted by the police for questioning in relation to a murder. The body of a young woman was discovered behind his house.
You’ve lied for him before, but you know he couldn’t have killed someone.
This is the addictive psychological thriller that everyone is talking about. The Sunday Times called it ‘chilling’, while bestselling authors from Marian Keyes to Clare Mackintosh have all ‘loved it’.
As soon as I read the blurb for this book I knew it was one for me, and I wasn’t wrong, I thought it was excellent!
It kept me hooked from the beginning and had me trying to second guess what was going to happen, I thought the suspense it generated was spot on! I was addicted to the story and needed to know what happened, definitely a book I struggled to put down!
To be honest, there wasn’t anything about the book I disliked, the whole thing was planned out and thought through to give maximum impact and it all works so well, the pace, plot and characters are superb!!
I loved the story and it was a pleasure to sit down and read it! Five stars from me, brilliant!!
