Laura is happy and content, she has a new boyfriend and loves her job teaching primary school pupils in London.  But when she inherits a rundown house from a stranger on her 30th birthday, memories of her prom night come flooding back, memories of a scary encounter and an antique mirror in the very same house.

Laura visits the house with all its secrets and as she unravels the clues she reveals the biggest secret of all: her own destiny.  But how can you change the future if it’s already written in the past?

MY INTERVIEW WITH THE AUTHOR!

1.  When did you know that you wanted to be an author?

There isn’t a specific time I can say that I wanted to be an author.  It’s something I’ve known that I’ve wanted to do for nearly all my life but it wasn’t until my late thirties that it became something I could really work on.

2.  What inspired you to write this book?

The inspiration for Reflected Destinies came from a mixture of a story idea about a World War Two soldier I had whirling around my head for many years and a rundown farm house near to where I live.

3.  If you could sell this book in one sentence what would it be?

The tagline for this book is…How can you change the future if it’s already written in the past?

4.  What are you up to next?

I have my second book Winters’ Gift due for release later this year.  It follows the story of Bea Winters, a would be author who moves to Yorkshire to pursue her dream job and finds love and mystery along the way.

5.  Who is your biggest inspiration?

I don’t really have any writing inspiration although I admire Philippa Gregory immensely.
