Such a small parcel shouldn’t cause experienced smugglers much trouble. But, as Finn and Aria discover, this is the most dangerous delivery of their lives. Battered by storms and chased across the globe by an evil warlord, they enlist the help of a strange witch-doctor. I initially reviewed the ecopy of this story and I thoroughly it and thought it was a really fun read and a great start to the series so when I saw that the audio book was also now available I was really eager to be able to get a copy and listen along!
I really enjoyed the narrator and where I found the story flowed really well before I think that it is even better in spoken word. The book has some great characters and best of all, it is great fun to listen too as well.
It has really good characterisation and I think the main characters could easily become firm favourites!
Five stars from me – a thoroughly enjoyable story and a well written fantasy novel that suits an audio book perfectly – very highly recommended!!

Her first book, Eternal Seas was written on a boat; the storm described in it was frighteningly real.
