Then:
Three-year-old Ally was found alone in a parking lot.
She was barefoot and dressed only in a yellow sundress. In the middle of winter.
What kind of person would abandon their daughter?
Now:
Fifteen years later and Ally has a new family.
But her real father has sent her a letter.
And now Ally is missing.
A gripping twist-filled thriller that will have you looking over your shoulder. Perfect for fans of Gone Girl, The Girl on the Train and Teresa Driscoll.
MY REVIEW
I was really intrigued by the blurb for this one and the cover is just perfect for the story, I thought it was a really well written story and a real page turner!
I thought that the opening scene was really heart-wrenching and I was hooked from then, I needed to know how everything would pan out.
The book has a great flow to it and I loved being able to get absorbed by the story, the characters were well developed and I really enjoyed getting to know more about them as the book progressed.
The author has clearly put a lot of thought in to the storyline to make sure it worked from cover to cover and added in just the right amount of twists and turns through the plot and the suspense generated was great.
It is four stars from me for this one, I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to get started on another of his books, Roam, which I am looking forward to reading in the next few weeks! Highly recommended!!
