It’s mayhem in Bethlehem…unless they can work together!
Viola Smith plays the viola in an orchestra (yes really!), but this year she’s been asked to stretch her musical talents to organising Notting Hill’s local nativity.
Nate Williams isn’t looking forward to Christmas but as his small daughter, Grace, has the starring role in the show, he’s forced to stop being a Grinch and volunteer with Viola.
With the sparks between them hotter than the chestnuts roasting in Portobello market, Nate and Viola can’t deny their feelings. And as the snow starts to fall over London, they find themselves trapped together in more ways than one…
This is a gorgeous festive read and I loved it!
The plot is lovely, very well developed and the flow that the author has with the story is spot on. I have read two books by this author now and both have been truly lovely stories. Her writing style is lovely and she has a natural talent to bring her words to life, the characters and location were perfect and all of the book worked so well together.
I found it to be a real page turner too, I needed to know how it would all end and was so pleased with the ending too! This was one of those books that drew me in and didn’t let me go until the end, I started and finished it the same evening, staying up later to finish it.
It is 4.5 stars from me for this one, rounded up to 5 stars for Goodreads and Amazon – it is a heart-warming and lovely story to read – very highly recommended!!
