When David meets old school-friend, Erin again he falls head over heels in love. He leaves his wife and their sixteen-year-old daughter to marry Erin. But, in a small village people have long memories and they move south for a fresh beginning. Erin’s behaviour starts to change in a very strange way and David wonders if she is punishing him for something he’s done?
I thought that this book was very well developed and I really enjoyed it!
The plot was great and I liked seeing the dynamics change in the relationship between David and Erin as the book progressed. The writing style the author used was spot on and reading the book made me feel like I peeking in to their relationship from the outside.
I liked the characterisation and how the characters were developed too, they were a great mix and their interaction was great – it certainly made for a gripping read.
It is 4 stars from me for this one, I thought it was well written and well developed – highly recommended!
