Don’t play the game.
In 1893, Evelyn and Claire leave their home in a Yorkshire town for life in a rural retreat on their beloved moors. But when a strange toy garden mysteriously appears, a chain of increasingly terrifying events is unleashed.
Neighbour Matthew Dixon befriends Evelyn, but seems to have more than one secret to hide. Then the horror really begins.
The Garden of Bewitchment is all too real and something is threatening the lives and sanity of the women. Evelyn no longer knows who – or what – to believe. And time is running out.

I really enjoyed the author’s previous book so I was really keen to get my hands on this one! I loved the sound of the blurb for this one too – just the kind of story to read wrapped up warm (and safe) in bed!
I loved the pace for the book and the suspense the author built up towards the end was great, it certainly had me guessing for most of the book as to how it might end! This is a great horror story and not to long to read at just under 290 pages too – it was a brilliant way for me to spend a few hours – loved it!
It is 4 stars from me for this one, it is another well written story by this author, I loved the characterisation and the setting was great – really well developed and a story that definitely kept me on my toes! Highly recommended!!
