#12DaysofClinkStreet #BookReview for Eliza Crisp and the Abominable Snow Company by Julie Mckay #ChristmasReads @authoright @fayerogerspr

Christmas is fast approaching and everyone in England is wishing for snow to make their dreams of a white Christmas come true.

Local weather forecaster Eliza Crisp wants nothing more than to be able to tell her listeners that snow is on the way, but it just won’t snow!

Even the Snow Globe in her back garden says that England should be under a thick blanket by now. So what’s the problem?

Faced with the threat of a Christmas without a festive flurry, Eliza knows there is only one place to go to find the answer: ‘The Abominable Snow Company’ in the South Pole.

I thought that this book was excellent!

The book was well written and it had a really great flow to the story. The illustrations were great, they are a little quirky and they work so well with the story – they also make the book stand out.

Anyone who has children will know that every year there are hundreds of books that are released at this time of year and when I was given the choice to pick any book for this celebration of the books published by Clink Street it was this one that jumped out at me as it was a little different from the norm.

It is 5 stars from me for this one, it is well written, a fun story and a great festive read – I read it with my daughter and we loved it – very highly recommended!
