All community midwife Violet wants for Christmas is a day of good food and trashy television with her best friend Zoe. Being on call means that anything could happen.
Take half an hour out of your busy day, and join the midwife on call at Christmas.
The best presents are sometimes the ones we least expect.
This is a quick-read story, featuring characters from the Lessons of a Student Midwife series.
I absolutely loved this book and I downloaded it as a quick read as I loved the main trilogy that followed Violet through her training so much and I have to say it was just wonderful!
The characters are wonderful, so well developed and genuine, I loved the family that Violet met and how her story was followed – I loved every page and the ending of the book was just great and such a fantastic read.
It is 5 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended and such a lovely read – it genuinely left me with a smile on my face and was the perfect way to escape and relax before bedtime after a long day – a fabulous read!
